Organize me: Here, there and everywhere!

I just received my BusyBodyBook in the mail. This organizer is the greatest thing since Fruity Cheerios (& if you aren't fond of Fruity Cheerios, [insert greatest thing here])! Here is me: Mom of a toddler, CEO of the household, avid blogger, amateur photographer, part-time barista & member of two active mom's groups among other things.
Just try and tell me I don't need THIS organizer!

The BusyBodyBook organizer, in my opinion, stands out from all the rest. The organizer's set up is very spacious and pleasing to the eye. Aside from the basics such as, a section for birthdays and anniversaries and months at a glance, it has grid-like pages showing seven days and FIVE columns. The best feature of the book is that the columns are left BLANK, not to mention the "To Doodles", "Notes" and perforated "To Do" section (take breath here). You can tailor the book to yours and your family's needs. I am also planning on investing in the BusyBodyBook's Weekly Fridge GRID Pad. The fridge pad has SEVEN columns, as opposed to the organizer's five. Plenty-o-room for keeping track of all family events on an 11 x 8.5 magnetic pad. Guess what, weight watchers...you could track what you eat and drink during the day! It will be right there in front of you. Oh yes, you can use this fridge pad and organizer to track ANYTHING.

The organizer comes in two different versions: the academic year (Aug. through Sept.) or calendar year (Jan. through Dec.) Each version is available in two stylish covers. I have the academic BBB, perfect for moms with school-age children (or college students). It will still work just as well for my busy body self. Check it out, students can use the BBB for school subjects, the employed can use it for work projects, the average Joe can use it for personal goals. Those are just a few of the many ways you can utilize this
organizer.

Seriously, people. You NEED this book! Guess what? We're giving away FOUR of the BusyBodyBook organizers! Aren't you LUCKY? :)

I really need this and would love it even more if it came with a personal assistant who would write everything down for me. I have a teenage daughter who is active in church, dance, choir, school acitivties and a Mother that can no longer drive who has various doctor's appointments, etc.

I also need to schedule my stuff. Yes, it's true. I too need to do things. Like nap, hide from family, remember to smile and act normal.

Pick me!

Our family has just made a huge move across the country. We are part of a team of people to start a new church. My husband has just started his own Non-Profit org. so that we can raise support while we are starting this new church. I've got a huge responsibility tracking what comes in, how much it was and who it was from. Plus organizing the lives of my 5,3,and 1 year old boys with swimming lessons, playdates, and school starting in the fall. I could REALLY use and organizer just for meal planning around here!! For everything else, it's a necessity.

Anonymous said...

I definitely need the academic year organizer so that when I start back to school in the fall I can be super together!!!

I so need this.
My organization right now is a string on the wall and clothes pins.. I saw it on a magazine and it look great to begin with.. All the magazine clippings, business cards, things-to-do hanging on the wall in this colorful "clothes-line".
I would use this book for all the things-to-do and get more organazed in general - actually have a time guide, not just "I'll get to it as I move on the clothes pins.."

Oh, this is just what I need! As a "part time" single mom (my hubby works abroad 11 months a year) with 2 kids at school, one with medical issues, going back to school myself this fall and at the same time being a WAHM, volunteer teacher and private turor I have lots of things to keep in mind all day. An organizer definitely could help me get through the day:-)

I'll post a link on my blog!

I have 8 month old twins, need I say more. This organizer could help me in so many ways. Doctor appointments, swim lessons, who ate what and when. My life is a schedule usually written on scrap paper that gets lost. This could help a busy mom of twins out. My mind is not what it used to be.

Between trying to keep track of everything related to infertility treatments, having a child in school, a husband in the military. I could find way too many uses for this thing. LOL

With 5 (soon-to-be six) little ones, you can be sure that this organizer would be put to good use. As long as my kiddos don't get a hold of it, I would use it to TRY to organize our school schedule, play dates, park days, doctor appts... oh, the list is endless!

Too anxious on the last comment... I left off part of my blog address! You can find me at Organized Chaos I'll link to this contest asap!!

I would use the busybodybook to keep all of my jobs organized. I am a substitute teacher and sometimes it is difficult to remember what school/city I will be working at that day.

Anonymous said...

Ok, there are probably a hundred different things that I could do with this organizer! So far, I have considered using it to map out all the meals for the week, and/or my plans for which exercise DVD on which day at which time, and/or my to do lists for managing FaithLifts posts or MOG administration. Honestly, I think I would just sit and look at it with glee for an hour or so, just excited by all the potential that a brand spankin'-new clean organizer holds!!! (Yes, I am a complete GEEK when it comes to the fun of a new organizer system!!)

I don't know where to begin on how an organizer could help us. We have so many things that are coming up and we have nothing to keep all the important dates and other information we are going to need when everything happens. The BusyBodyBook will help me get all of us organized for when we move and when we need other information so we can let people know what's going on. Thanks.

As a mom that works full time out of the house, a blogger, a website owner and a loving wife, I need all the help I can get being organized. :)

I will be linking this contest on my blog. Thanks for hostessing it.

How would I use the BBB? Well, first off, I have a 15 year old who always wants to be here or there, but cannot drive yet. I would plan his outings along with transportation plans.

I have a 10 year old with a best friend who is very active in sports. We could make better plans to attend his games to support the bestest buddy.

I am trying to be more involved with our church, but I just do not see where the time is. I know this book would help me with my schedule so that I could find the time.

There are about 100 other uses I can think of, but I do not want to take up too much time.

Thanks for considering me.

Okay, I'll admit it took me a few minutes to figure out how to leave a comment. Couldn't find the 'comment here' link. :D

With seven children, I could use the organizer so many ways: homeschool assignments, play dates, menu planning, blogging, church, etc. Seriously, do mothers ever rest?

heather@it'stwinsanity said...

Oh, I could put this to good use! I've got 4 kids, we homeschool, I'm a LLL Leader, ICAN Leader, Army wife and Doula. We're members of the local Twins Club and Moms Club too. The only thing that could help me more than an organizer would probably be more hours in the day to get everything done that I plan! :)

Anonymous said...

Well...if 6 kids wasn't enough then listen to this. My hubby was taken from his family at 4 weeks and adopted out. After years we found his Grandmother and contacted her days before her 77th birthday. Sadly he missed knowing his parents and grandfather by 2 years. But his Grandmother gave him wonderful news...he has a Sister. We just got back from Florida visiting her and her family and we've decided to move there. My kids will be going to schools for gifted children which means more schoolwork and projects and activities to keep up with than the normal stuff AND I now have 3 more nieces and 2 more nephews to keep up with birthdays, activities, sports and performances. If that organizer can help me with my 6 kids, a move from Texas to Florida and a slew of new relatives to keep up with...I'll be your biggest fan. Thanks for considering...Angela (mikesangel1222)

Well, I sooo need that organizer. I have 3 little ones and this fall I will be serving as Secretary of the School's PTO. Also, I am a La Leche League Leader and I have to keep track of meetings and reports and stuff. With kids activities and managing the operation of our household it might be beneficial to just tape that organizer to my butt, because I cannot live without something keeping my days straight. LOL!

Superdumb Supervillain said...

I have never successfully used an organizer but since I'm expecting my second child in a month and my three year old is starting activities and playdates and I'm in charge of a major fundraiser this year, it seems like a great time to try, try again... the BusyBodyBook format looks easy to use, too. Love the fridge pad, also.

I need all the help I can get with organization. We have 10 children, all yet at home, and we also homeschool. Our youngest is 4 months old. Between homeschooling, dentist and ortho appts., kid's days out, birthdays, ETC . . . and then normal everyday stuff, this sure could help! And, I blog, and try to keep a schedule of carnivals and different things to blog on on a regular basis. THIS SURE COULD HELP ME! :) (Purty Pleaaasssseee????)

I would use this to keep track of ....my work schedule, my daughters work schedule, my sons work schedule, our homeschooling, ballet lessons, piano, basketball, vbs, gymnastics, doctor/dentist/vet appts.......lets see, church volunteer rotation, field trips, play dates, swim lessons, open gyms, assignments, bills, grocery lists.....how do any moms organize it all?!?

I am a Mom of 3 little ones (4,2,& 9months). If that wouldn't keep me busy enough, I run our business from home. I am also going to be homeschooling Kindergarten this year! I need some help getting this all together.

The only thing missing in this book is the double-sided tape so I can stick it to myself and take it everywhere I go ;) Being an extremely anal planner, organizer, and list-maker I would use this for everything, and not have to refer to the 3 calendars and 2 notebooks I have around the house!

Anonymous said...

I would love to win this organizer. How would I use it? I'd actually give it to my husband because even though he has the kids only 2 days a week (while I'm working) he can't seem to get her to swimming class on time! ARGGG!

C said...

I would use it to keep track of my husband's school schedule (so I don't call him in the middle of classes anymore:) and to organize my schedule and my couponing rebates and rainchecks -- so I never forget to use one ever again!:)

Let's see, where to start. I work full-time at a University doing virus reserach, I have a 2yo, am 7.5 months pregnant with #2 (a girl), very active in church and planning activities for the church, try to keep up with husband's activities as well as all my other activities and the kids activities - I need the planner badly, as my current one is drowning in entries! Plus I blog for our family...whew - I'm exhausted.

Wow! Love organizers! Busy with twin 4 year olds - need help!

Liz Zelie said...

There are so many ways I'd use my planner: work appointments, keeping track of when I write letters to friends and my sponsor children, birthdays, events, etc. Most importantly, as I am part of a small church plant, I'd keep track of when our meetings are, what neighbors I have invested time in, what newsletters/events still need to be handled. This would be such a blessing to me!

Anonymous said...

Hi, what a great sounding book! I could DEF use one!! I am ALWAYS looking for a place to keep all my inportant things - dr appts, family pics, important work papers, business cards, etc. I can never seem to find an organizer that really works for me. I think this could be the one!!

Anonymous said...

I could use a academic organizer. I am married with one daughter. Husband and I both work and go to college full time. My mother and sister is about to move in with us. I could use this for school events for both kids along with myself and husband. My memory is not what it use to be and reminders always help.

Anonymous said...

Oh, how I would LOVE one of these! I have 4 kids ages 7 and under and each pregnancy has ZAPPED more and more brain cells. I can't remember the simplest things sometimes, much less what we have going on. I've relied on my Microsoft Outlook calendar to keep track of things, but I get too sidetracked when I try to 'jot' something down! I'd love to win this organizer!!!

Anonymous said...

I'm SO glad someone has introduced me to these organizers! Even if I don't win one, I will definitely buy one. This book would be perfect for me! I am a stay at home Mommy who is finally heading back to school in August. I'll be juggling full time college, keeping my 2 year old happy & putting food on the table for my fantastic little family. Not to mention it will help with our new venture to buy a new home this year. It will be our first home purchase, so what a blessing a good organizer would be for my family's finances. It has been a good 5 years since I've been in school, so needless to day I will need all the help I can get! Pick me pick me! haha kidding ;)

Oh, I have seen one of these Busy Body Books and it looks just perfect! I have 18 month old twin boys and one in school. I don't currently use an organizer and would love to have this to keep our appointments, classes, snack days, and commitments all organized. Plus my husband has an odd work schedule and I am constantly planning things for him and finding out later he works.

This would be a godsend!

Oooh!! I'm giddy over this one! I homeschool my kids, age 9 and 6, run the household, a co-op group, hold a part time job, and try to maintain a social life as well. This looks to be a great solution for my busy life! I've been searching for a good organizer for years now.. I can't wait to get my hands on this one! Thanks for introducing it to us.

Why do I need an organizer? So I'll stop writing on the back of my hands. I can't tell you the number of times people have looked at me as if I were fresh out prison and asked, "Are those tattoos?"

I smile and say, "Nope, it's just my to-do list."

I am having Baby #4 next week. Could I possibly organize the birth in this little gem of an Organizer?! I also work-at-home, stay-at-home, have 2 in school, a toddler, and soon-to-be-newborn. And I once was a Type A Anal-Rententive type! LOL! I have been searching for the perfect organizer since I started procreating and have never found one to meld baby/home/business/mommy fun all in one!

SimplyBillie said...

I am a mother of two very active boys (3 and 2) and we are tossing around the idea of adding a third child to the mix. My oldest son is in a special needs program within the school district and also needs to be taken out of state (a 5 hour drive-one way) to see a specialist quite often.

Our small community did not offer any resources for mothers, so with some research I started up a local MOMS Club. I served a year as President and am currently serving as Administrative Vice President, while mentoring our new president. We have several activities a week, playdates, support groups, meetings, etc. and I am in charge of organizing all service projects which involve wrapping presents for local foster children, collecting and donating prom dresses to teenagers who can not afford them, and more.

I am a work-at-home mom. My main 'job' is as a Medical Transcriptionist and I'm lucky enough to be able to schedule my work around my kids schedules. I also make money as an affiliate, so I need to keep track of advertising dates/places/expenses. Oh... and I work as a mail monitoring agent, so I need to keep track of any mail which is sent to me.

I am also a SART (Sexual abuse response team) advocate. I have to make meetings, trainings, fundraiser events, and be there when a victim needs me (whether it be for support or a ride to the hospital and a hand to hold during the rather invasive medical exam).

So, as you can see, I NEED a planner to keep track of all this. I've bought planners in the past, but the only thing I can get locally are the really bulky ones with snaps that are hard to close. It's really more of a hassle than a productive tool.

Anonymous said...

I love planners...can you ever have too many organizers!?!

I went to the BusyBody Book site and downloaded the summer sample...and as I was writing all the family activities on the BBB from the normal calendar...found that I had some of us going multiple places at one time...but not anymore!!!

I LOVE this planner!!! and as best I can tell...I'm going to need at least three...or maybe four...one for my son to use to keep track of his high school assignments and activities...another to use as a curriculum planner for my two younger kids that I homeschool...and one to use as a personal journal to record tasks, food diary, exercise, Bible reading, books I've read, movies I've seen and whatever else...and...I should probably get one to keep track of my family's schedule too...

I would really love to win one of these...so I'll only have to buy THREE more!!!

thanks so much for telling us about this planner!

Nonalee said...
